Ernst Joassaint Is a Haitian artist who was a student of
Enel Desir. His favorite subjects are market scenes, especially colordul depictions
of merchants selling flowers, fruits and vegetables. His colorful depictions of coarsely
woven baskets give a glimpse of daily life in Haiti.
